That's right folks! The day has come where we show off your fanart submissions for the first ever Sue n' Clark Fanart Challenge.

First off we have QueenBoo's own take on Sue. She gave our little goth baddie an alternative outfit to complement her moody looks. Personally I'm a big fan of this redesign! But I can't imagine she can afford such a get-up. Oh well, put the tab on her 7th Credit Card and call it a day!

@QueenBoo has been one of the biggest assets to the completion of Sue n' Clark's many chapters. If not for her, we might not have gotten the webcomic we all love here on Newgrounds!

@KittyhawkMontrose has graced us with this amazing piece of fanart! It depicts both Sue and Clark drawn in her wonderful artstyle. Its nice to see both characters drawn in a fully colored background, with props and all. Sue is looking as fresh as ever. And Clark doesn't seem to be having a good time being Sue's lapdog. But he's not one to complain given his current predicament.

Kittyhawk and I first got to know each other sometime after her Sweet Sixteen Comic Contest. I submitted my own entry and we hit it off from there. She's a great contributor to NG, and helps breath life into the community. Always great to have her and her husband as fans of my series.

At the very last minute (11:58pm), we got @wayyward's rendition of Sue. Really love her design language here. You really captured Sue's look and made it your own. From the looks of it, Sue appears to be blushing over the sight of Todd. Surprised she isn't vomiting all over herself while having a severe panic attack.

Wayyward and I met way back in 2023's Newgrounds Meetup (TooManyGames). We've been following each other's work since that fateful day. Really love her character Kelly.

@NotGWalker gives us a very dynamic drawing! Sue and Clark seem to be fighting about...something. Its anyone's guess really. Love the use of dynamic shape language here! It really captures Sue rage. I also love how Clark is being squished like a chew toy. Him flipping the bird is a subtle touch. Overall, this piece truly captures the nature of Sue n' Clark relationship (or lack there of)

NotGWalker is someone I've seen in Discord calls. He's a man of few words, but I seriously wished he upload more. Guy's got a good eye for character design and dynamic poses.

@EpithetSoup gives us a his own rendition of Sue and Clark. This time in pixel art. He went the visual novel route and gave us some dialogue between the two. Honestly Sue, you shouldn't bother a man of culture in his quest to g00n.

Epithet and I have spoken over Discord in the past. He and I also met at the Pico Day 2024 Meetup in NJ. Great guy all around. He's really improved his art skills in the time I've known him.

Up next, we have @PorcuCatChaos and her own rendition of Sue. Got her posing like a thot. She's probably just waiting for a paycheck from the simps she has wrapped around her finger.

PorcuCat is real down bad for Sue. Cant exactly blame her. But I do warn her from time to time "be careful what you wish for".

@SuperSmurf gives us lore accurate Sue. This here is why you NEVER get in bed with an e-girl! Imagine the smell of that bedroom.

SuperSmurf, or Morbid as I've known him, is another guy I chat with from time to time on Discord. He's made it his personal goal to improve his art. So far I think he's done an excellent job.

Holy shit! This is probably one of the most explicit entries we got! Done by @Flafuflop, she captures a horrifically erotic scene between Sue and another OC named Antonio. Gotta say, this really surprised me the first time I ever saw it. Can't exactly say its lore accurate, but it sure makes for a good piece.

Flafuflop, better known as Nelly by the rest of NG, is someone I've known for many years now. Its crazy seeing her evolve from little tradwife church girl to full blown degen artist. That's between her and God of course.

Speaking of degen art, this is NotGWalker's original idea for Sue n' Clark fanart. This abomination came up when we were in a group VC discussing character lore for Clark.

Yeah...you could only imagine how that conversation went.

@praise-bob has also given us a doodle of Sue with a penis. I have no other words for this work of "art".

And at the very peak of degeneracy, we have "Gay 4 Pay" by @NeuromancaEspa. This is by far the WORST piece of fanart I have YET RECEIVED!!! Why the FUCK is Clark so fucking huge?!

Hey again everyone. I'm feeling pretty burnt out right now. Especially after releasing two of the WORST FUCKING UPLOADS in recent memory. You can check em' out below.

They were meant for a valentines event, but I got fucking sick of working on them, so I had to rush them in before the deadline. In any case, lets talk about something I actually give a shit about.

Sue n' Clark: Chapter 3

I am currently up to 23 pages drafted. Production is starting to slow down a bit due to a number of IRL factors. There's also a good chance I may take up to April to draft everything up. The reason for this is because I want to have as much control over how my panels turn out as possible. Regardless, things are still trucking along.

I will begin work on a Sue n' Clark website after I have submitted my pages to QueenBoo in either March or April of this year. Not much I can say on the matter other than that.

Hello again everyone! Its that time again! Time to give a quick update on what I've been up to this past January!

Sue n' Clark: Fanart Challenge

But first, I would like to remind everyone that the fanart challenge will officially end on February the 28th. The "Sue-n-Clark-Fanart" tag is having issues, so please be sure to DM your submissions either through NG or Discord. This way I can keep better track of them. So far we got 3 submissions on the "Sue-n-Clark-Fanart" tag and 2 submissions given to me via DM. In total we got 5 submissions for the challenge, and more to come in the coming weeks.

Sue n' Clark: Chapter 3

In the month of January, I was able to draft a total of 18 pages for the upcoming chapter. A pretty good number for just one month alone. This could end up being one of the longest chapters yet, being somewhere between 35-39 pages long. My goal for Chapter 3 is to show off the hellish conditions Clark is going to be living in while under the iron grip of Sue. The more pages I can use to convey this predicament, the better.

I'm hoping to have all the pages drafted, and handed over to QueenBoo, sometime in March of this year. Of course, that will be dependent on whether or not fate has any more surprises in store to derail my progress. Only time will tell.

Having completed the first volume back in 2024, I have made plans to expand Sue n' Clark's reach to a wider audience. So far I have looked into Webtoon and Tapas, as they are the biggest platforms for webcomic publishing. Unfortunately, I expect that neither of these sites will take too kindly to my style of comedy. It is for this reason, that I will primarily be looking to give Sue n' Clark an official website, containing all the official chapters that have been released.

A lot of this is still up in the air. At the end of January, I completed an official cover that I plan to use for all versions of Sue n' Clark going forward.

Conclusion

2025 is going to be the year of Sue n' Clark! I plan to put all my creative energy into getting this series the respect it truly deserves, while also continuing to release new chapters for the foreseeable future! Hopefully you will all be there when that time finally arrives.

Last Saturday, I announced a Sue n' Clark Fanart Challenge to kick off the beginning of this year. So far we have three amazing entries. I've been doing my best to spread this challenge to mutuals and friends alike. Interest seems to be on the rise. You can expect more entries to arrive in the coming months.

Sue n' Clark: Chapter 3

As of today, I have 15 pages currently drafted. Of those 15 pages, 6 of them are ready for correction. Progress has been going great these past few weeks. I'm hoping to have Chapter 3 released sometime in June (though that's subject to change depending on circumstance). For now, I'd like to share my favorite page (so far) of this upcoming chapter.

My Biggest Goal For 2025

With the completion of Sue n' Clark: Volume 1, I've taken it upon myself to spread the good word of this up-and-coming series of mine. For 2025, I want to do my best to grow Sue n' Clark into a grass-roots fandom (without all the usual fandom bullshit). This is why I decided to announce a fanart challenge. I figured it would be a good way to energize all you familiar faces that keep coming back to my NG posts. One of the best ways to keep a fanbase going is to either...

A. Provide fans with content

B. Provide fans with a fun challenge

While I'd like to be able to upload art posts on a regular basis, the simple fact is I have my own life going on. I can't always be there to upload like an endless content farm. So in the meantime, I figured it would be fun to give all my loyal fans and friends a chance to have their own take on Sue n' Clark. If this fanart challenge goes well, I'll be sure to make more fanart challenges in the coming months.

Now for a bit of yapping on my part.

While my reach is limited, every person I've ever interacted with either online or IRL has expressed interest in Sue n' Clark. Anytime I've commissioned art of Sue, or had fanart of Sue n' Clark given to me, I've seen all the comments fawning over Sue's gothic looks and laughing at Clark's big fat face. The potential for a Sue n' Clark fanbase is all there. I just have to seize it. I know in my heart of hearts that Sue n' Clark has the potential to be a franchise in its own right. Of all the creative projects I have worked on, this is the first one that I feel has true potential. Its been 3 years in the making, and we're now getting somewhere truly promising.

All of this to say, I hope you all stick with me in these exciting times.

In past recaps, I've tried presenting things in chronological order. For 2024's recap, I've decided to present my biggest achievements starting at the most significant one. I wouldn't exactly say any of my achievements in 2024 were "insignificant". More-so, I would like to discuss the biggest events that happened to me that year.

So without further a-do, lets get into it!

Sue n' Clark: Chapters 1 & 2 (COMPLETED THIS YEAR)

This is by far the biggest achievement I have had on NG! After 3 years of planning, preproduction, experimenting, and FINALLY figuring my shit out, I was able to complete AN ENTIRE VOLUME of Sue n' Clark this year! My ambitions have finally become a reality. The story that I had been searching for had finally come to life!

Its crazy to think that after all these years, I not only produced and published a chapter in April, but would go on to do it again in November (set backs be damned). I now have an entire volume's worth of story I could use for almost anything. Maybe in the future, I could crowdfund on Kickstarter to produce physical copies of Volume 1 to ship to you all. Or better yet, Volume 1 could serve as the basis for an animated pilot.

Bare in mind, I have no plans going into 2025 of doing any of those things (yet). The reason I bring all this up is to demonstrate the possibilities I have now opened up for myself. Sue n' Clark may one day be something I can actually turn into a cult following. Obviously we still have a ways to go before that time, but the grind of 2024 has brought us much closer to that future.

It also helps that Volume 1 has been received so well by you guys. In the span of over 1 year, I have managed to create a webcomic volume that is ALSO of good quality. It feels good knowing I actually built something of real substance. Everyone seems to like Sue. Clark of course is a great foil. You guys seem excited for what's to come in Chapter 3 (and that's great, cuz it means I'm actually doing something right).

I of course have to (once more) thank QueenBoo for her exceptional cleanup work! Throughout mid 2023 and all of 2024, she has been instrumental in helping to see my vision through. I would consider her a truly reliable artist to work with, and possibly my webcomic's best asset. Couldn't have done it without you QueenBoo! You're a life saver!

Successful Rebrand in 2024

After changing my username from MisterFatso to EugeneDoesArt in late 2022, I had to come up with a brand new look. And by God did that happen.

Its good to know that my rebrand worked out in the end. No more confusion about how I represent myself online anymore. No need to use my weight as a cope to draw attention to myself. I can FINALLY represent myself in a way that I not only like, but isn't a complete determent to myself.

Gettin' Fit!

I won't dwell on this too long. Let's just say since Summer of 2024, I've been hitting the gym and building muscle. I'm by no means a body builder, but god damn do I look so much better. I've gone from a tubby fat guy, to a strong muscular fat guy!

1 Year of Therapy Later

Again, not going too deep into this topic. Lets just say that I needed to re-adjust my self image. Its actually helped me really connect with myself better. I started to really change the way I dress in the Summer of 2024. I even dabbled a bit in fashion in the month of November. Overall, therapy has been a net positive.

NETWORKING NETWORKING NETWORKING

Another gem to my collection of wins was the multiple connections I made this year. I made it my mission to get people aware of who I am and what I represent. And this year, I intend to double my efforts! But for now, lets shoutout some amazing folks I met along the way.

• I got to see Magian irl for the first time at the 2024 Pico Day Meetup (Met tons of peeps irl including the likes of Tamag0, MindChamber, MayaLaCookie, EpithetSoup, DevoidGazer, OviManic, Flafuflop, and impressed the likes of Tom Fulp, SrPelo, and Krinkels with my stickers)

• Made a few more connections at the TooManyGames 2024 Meetup like PsychoGoldfish, Connor Grail, and TeraVex, while finally meeting the likes of Bleak-Creep for the first time.

• Got involved with KittyHawkMontrose's community and now regularly attend her live chats.

• Tuesday Takeover also helped my grow my audience a little

• I have also introduced myself to a multitude of new people through my Sue Stickers.

I'm sure there are more people on that list I forgot to mention. My apologies if I missed you.

All these connections slightly boosted my numbers. But to be honest, that's not really the biggest victory. The biggest victory is getting more loyal fans and familiar faced onto my art posts. In this algorithmic hellscape we call "social media", I need loyal readers and followers who actually care about what I put out there. None of this trend chasing bullshit is gonna get me anywhere. Its good to know that I have a loyal audience that appreciates my work for what it truly is. One of these days, I'd like to make it up to you all.

Pokémon Gijinka Collab

KittyHawkMontrose hosted a Pokémon Gijinka Collab in 2024. I of course chose to draw Mega Lopunny. Gonna be honest, I feel like I could have done better. Regardless, its another notch under my belt. The collab's official release hasn't been uploaded just yet. Hopefully in early 2025 (Stay Tuned)

Launched a YouTube Channel

While I'm still struggling to find time to upload, I did create a YouTube Channel I intend to get more use out of in 2025. I wanna do more commentary style videos on art, media, and my vision for artistic integrity. You can find my channel here.

Some of my favorite Art Posts of 2024

Compared to last year, I didn't improve THAT much. My growth has been a lot more gradual. But that's fine by me. I have mastered three important principles that will carry me far.

1. Character Design
2. Facial Expressions
3. Story Telling

Ok, now to cover some of the bullshit that was thrown my way in 2024. I'll try to be brief with this one.

Car got Totaled in September

Yeah, this one was just plain sad. I had totaled my car on the highway and had to get it replaced with a brand new car. I'm still making those payments as of now. Regardless, I suffered no serious injuries (and neither has my current car). I should have it fully paid off in the middle part of 2025.

Didn't Upload as Much on YouTube

I really wanted to make more YouTube content, but got sidetracked with Sue n' Clark work. That, and I got paralysis on what kind of content I should make (and how I should carry myself). A lot can go into YouTube, and unlike my other projects, YouTube requires more "efficiency" on the part of its creators. I have ZERO INTEREST in becoming a slop channel. But I can't go overboard with production (unless I'm making a much longer video). Its a whole other ball game, and I'm just along for the ride, learning as I go. Hopefully 2025 will be a better year to make some YouTube videos.

Got burnt on Fanart

Not much to say here. I've learned that I can NEVER be a commission artist cuz I can ONLY draw what I WANT TO DRAW!!! No more trend chasing! No more running through the algo rat race! If I'm truly a fan of something, then I'll draw it! Otherwise, leave me alone.

For 2025, I only have three goals:

• Make Sue n' Clark Volume 2 (Chapters 3 and 4)
• Create fun challenges for my loyal fans (redraw challenges maybe)
• Get Back into YouTube

I think that's simple enough!

In conclusion, 2024 was a year of massive growth for me. But I don't see it as a honeymoon year like in 2021. No, this is only the beginning.

May 2025 bring me even more growth!

Hey everyone. This update is gonna be a bit different, mainly cuz I'm trying to relax this December. As stated before, I'm gonna finish up my Secret Santa (hopefully) by this week. I will also be submitting a "Year in Review" on January 1st of 2025 (Sue n' Clark will also resume production on that date). I have a lot I wanna say in my yearly review, but I'll just leave you all with this for the time being...

Thank you to everyone of you guys who have supported my work, and stuck by me in both my highs and lows. I may not have the biggest audience, but I certainly have a very loyal one. I've always appreciated seeing the reviews and favs of familiar faces. Its been a joy seeing you guys speculate on the motivations of my characters. I would have never had this opportunity in the fickle, algorithm driven internet we live in today. Networking and sharing my work with you all on Newgrounds has given me that small but loyal following I always wanted. Maybe one of these days we could become a meme empire, spreading our wings and taking over this algo infested hellscape. But today, I'll put away my over-active imagination, and simply be grateful for what I've been given. What you all have given me.

Hitting the age of 27 has made me reflect a lot on my life, and where it may be headed 3 years from now. There are no guarantees to what the future holds. So while I still have the chance, I want to show my gratitude to all of you who have stuck by me.

Hello once again everyone. We've entered the final month of 2024 and are soon approaching Christmas. Its been one hell of a year all things considered. But for now, lets get into the updates.

Sue n' Clark: Chapter 3

With the completion of Chapter 2 (and thus, the completion of Volume 1), I have set plans for the next chapter in advance. Chapter 3 will begin production at the start of January 2025. Can't share too many details (no spoilers), but I hope to have it out within a 6 month period (fingers crossed). If you somehow missed either of the previous chapters, I have links below.

Secret Santa

I will be participating in this year's Secret Santa. Much like the Chapter 3 announcement, I can't exactly go into too much detail on that. Gonna try to get that done ASAP! That will be uploaded to the Art Portal first thing on December 25th (Christmas Day)

YouTube

Having reflected on my schedule, I've had to reorganize a bit with regard to YouTube videos. Firstly, I'm going to try and build a backlog of videos that I can upload on a bi-weekly schedule. When I actually get to uploading again is gonna be rocky. I'm hoping for the start of January, but we're just gonna have to play it by ear.

It sucks cuz I honestly have a lot I want to say regarding art, fiction, media discourse, and the entertainment industry. But YouTube is a much different ballgame from what I'm used to. Still, I'm not gonna let this setback deter me from continuing to pursue my goals.
