Hello once again all you beautiful people. I recently got back from the TooManyGames Meetup near Philly. I had a lot of fun and wanted to share some of my biggest highlights with you all. But first I wanted to share all the goodies I got at the meetup table.
I have no idea what to do with all these collectibles. I gotta place more cork board in my room so I can find a home for all these stickers. Maybe I should keep a book for that. Oh well, I'll figure it out in due time.
Anyways, lets get into my trip.
I got my 3 Day Pass and checked into my hotel on Thursday at around noon. The hotel was nice and I brought my Steamdeck to keep me occupied for the time being. I also brought a bunch of comics (that I never got around to reading).
That evening was the first time I ever touched Hi-Fi Rush. I definitely gotta play more of that game.
At around 8pm I met up with @PsychoGoldfish , @TeraVex , @ConnorGrail , @MalFromed , and @DAMOCHINE at the Cheese Cake Factory in King of Prussia. We all had a great time shooting the shit with each other. During closing, I distinctly remember one of the waiters/managers asking if we were heading to the TMG convention. We eventually got to talking about Newgrounds and realized he was one of us. Crazy experience ngl.
I sadly have no photos of this encounter, but to be fair I was just trying to enjoy myself.
The next morning, I took a trip to a local joint called Retroware Arcade. Its a small arcade next to a Video Game shop in the area. Great games all around.
By 12:30pm, I left the arcade to get ready for the big event. TMG was gonna start at 2pm and I wanted to make sure I got there in time. But by the time I made it to the event, parking was already starting to fill up. No worries though, I just had to walk like 5 minutes to the main entrance. Once I got into the expo, I started searching for the Emerald Stage (meetup location). My search lead me to the arcade area which lead me to this Pump it Up machine.
I ended up playing a game of Pump it Up before our Meetup officially started. Not my best choice all things considered, but I was just happy to see TMG give Pump some recognition this year.
After my very sweaty game, I made my way to the Emerald Stage and was greeted by @CorTat-G and @NickSenny . I shot the shit with Cortat and made my way to the main table to get my name tag and goodies. I of course placed my stickers on the table for others to collect.
I met with TeraVex again near one of the seats. Turns out his crew was running late. Too bad for them. PsychoGoldFish peered out from one of the curtains to greet me as well.
Cortat made sure to get a giant group photo. Really commemorates the occasion.
I started talking with some old (and new) faces. I saw @Slimygoo in his signature Hawaiian Shirt. @Kekiiro gave me one of her sticker sheets. @DrewPBalls gave me a fistbump after a long time of not seeing each other. I saw @wayyward and @ErasmusMagnus again from last year and we hung out for a bit. @Anislug gave me a big hug during the event. I also gave a fist bump to @ForgeFrog over the main table. I didn't actually realize it was him until he said "Thank you for participating in the collab". @Bleak-Creep and I exchanged signatures, and she gave me one of her art prints. Towards the tail end of the meetup, I saw @MarshyBruh and @SageIsReal together (just like last year).
I also got a bunch of signatures from different NG peeps, posted below.
There are probably more people I met than I can count. Sorry if I didn't include you in this post.
Alright, I'm starting to run out of room for photos (literally can only post one more). So I'll skip ahead a bit.
On Saturday I went back into TMG to see Red Vox play live. The concert was fucking amazing and made the trip worth it. At the end of the concert, Vinny threw his guitar pick into the crowd and I somehow got it.
Best souvenir I could ask for tbh.
Alright, this post has gone on for long enough. Just wanna thank you all for having fun with me at TMG. I look forward to next year.

Bleak-Creep
It was nice to get to meet ya! I feel like I never know what to say to people in the moment, but I remembered I was really happy to have grabbed up one of your stickers earlier. Defs one of my favs on the table.
I never made it out to the Retrowave arcade, but those pics you posted made it look so cool too. Was real jelly about that.
